Gorilla
Gorilla is one of the most stoned Indica cultivars on the market. Sultry terpenes and a THC level of 25% merge to induce a body-melting high.
It is an Indica-dominant cultivar created to meet the demand for increased THC levels. The more people smoke weed, the more their tolerance builds. Eventually, smokers require stronger cultivars to experience the same psychoactive effect that weaker strains used to offer.
Pyramid Seeds recognized this need and went to work in the grow room, crossing powerhouse parent strains Chem Sis and Sour Dubb. The gorilla was the result of this pairing—a cultivar that boasts a THC level of 25%.
It is a highly productive specimen. Indoor plants provide a yield of around 400g/m² after flowering for 56–63 days. Outdoor plants perform even better. At the end of an optimal season, expect a yield of up to 1000g/plant. Prepare to harvest, trim, and dry these flowers during September.
Gorilla produces small buds that feature dark green and purple hues. Each flower resists the weight of an abundance of trichomes, calyxes, and pistils. They emanate scents of pine, wood, and lemon.
Gorilla isn’t exclusively available for experienced smokers. Novices looking to achieve a profoundly altered state of consciousness should also give Gorila a go. Medicinal users who find high levels of THC useful against pain, insomnia, stress, and other symptoms will also find value in this cultivar.
The genetic makeup of 55% Indica genetics—paired with such a high THC level—catalyzes a fast-acting body stone that lingers for hours. The immediate effects include a relaxed, buzzing sensation throughout the body. The mind becomes still and impervious to stress and worry. Eventually, the munchies turn up to the party. After feasting, you’ll probably want to let the lingering effects of Gorilla lull you to sleep.
