Coco Coir
Coco coir is one of the substrate that is generally inert, meaning it doesn’t contain any type of fertilizer.
So you know exactly what you’re getting and what your plants are feeding on.
It has a higher water absorption capacity, meaning you can water your plants more often than you would with soil, which means you can add more nutrients.
It also doesn’t get too compacted when it gets wet, unlike soil.
The roots have more free space to grow and give the plant more structure.
Coconut works in a similar way to substrate
