DP – FRISIAN DUCK
FRISIAN DUCK is a fairly small breed that is ideal for breeding in populated areas.
Very hardy and easy to grow, ideal for greenhouse and outdoor cultivation. It grows as big as a Christmas tree and has a huge yield.
Beautiful purple flowers with a spicy, piney and fruity aroma.
FRISIAN DUCK is a hybrid cannabis strain bred for its distinctive leaf shape that resembles a duck’s footprint. For the bulk of her life, Frisian Duck is difficult to identify as cannabis. Its compact buds have a rather subtle spicy aroma with hints of fresh woods, pine and citrus. The aroma is not too strong, which helps it maintain a low odor profile even when the large purple flowers mature and dominate its appearance.
As the product of the hybridization of Ducksfoot x Frisian Dew, FRISIAN DUCK has quite a high yield potential. Her Frisian Dew parent genetics ensure healthy and strong offspring that are tough enough to take a hit or two. In addition to thriving outdoors, FRISIAN DUCK also does well indoors. It remains fairly compact and doesn’t require a lot of height control to perform well. Note that its purple tones may be slightly less vivid indoors compared to a bud grown outdoors.
Its leaves have a rather unusual and distinctive shape.
During the vegetative phase the leaves are maple-like, later in flowering some parts of the upper leaves may show the traditional shape of hemp.
This is exactly the quality that guerilla entrepreneurs are looking for.
FRISIAN DUCK grows unusually shaped leaves that make it difficult to identify as traditional cannabis, but is ideal for outdoor and greenhouse cultivation in populated areas. The name “FRISIAN DUCK” derives from the distinctive shape of the leaf, which resembles a duck’s footprint, especially in the first two-thirds of its life.
FRISIAN DUCK is ready for harvest after about 8-9 weeks of flowering indoors. Outdoors it can reach maximum heights of 2-3m and is harvested around early/mid autumn.
FRISIAN DUCK produces fresh, pine and fruity/citrus leaning, delicious buds. The effect of purple sativa flowers is quite mild and uplifting. This strain is not the most intense and suits the grower who does not want a strong psychoactive experience. It gives the user a pleasantly smooth and well-balanced high that they can still function on. Outdoor activities will become more enjoyable after smoking FRISIAN DUCK. The effect is of medium strength and duration.
FRISIAN DUCK does not stretch and grow as tall as more sativa dominant strains. It is a medium to large plant that almost doubles in size during flowering. Indoors, it is quite easily controlled. Outside, it can become a real monster, often turning into a cannabis plant in the shape of a huge Christmas tree. Indoors, a vegetative period of 4-6 weeks will be sufficient to produce large yielding plants.
It can be grown in a box under SOG conditions and is recommended for higher yields. Although it can thrive indoors, we recommend growing it outside as its real strength lies in its outdoor potential. It really thrives in any outdoor crop and is perfect for the outdoor grower looking for a stable cannabis strain that can handle long periods of inclement weather.
It grows easily into a large fir tree with tough trunks that can support quite a lot of weight. Flowering time is about 8-9 weeks. With the recommended vegetative phase, it will take about 12-15 weeks from seed to harvest.
FRISIAN DUCK produces an XXL crop of amazing purple flowers; 400 to 500 grams per m2 is possible. The plant bears heavy buds that will have a forest scent!
