Orchid Substrate
The ideal environment for healthy and resilient orchids
Orchid substrate is a specially selected mixture that provides ideal air permeability, moisture balance and stable conditions for healthy growth and flowering.
The combination of natural components creates a structure that is as close as possible to the natural environment of orchids.
The main advantages of orchid substrate
- Excellent air permeability – The coarse-grained structure of the substrate provides the roots with oxygen-rich space, which prevents rotting.
- Optimal humidity – Water will flow in so that the roots get enough moisture, but excess water will be quickly absorbed — the perfect balance for a healthy root system.
- Natural, safe ingredients – The substrate is made from high-quality bark, coconut fiber (coir), perlite, and other materials — without chemical additives.
- Accelerates growth and flowering – A properly selected mixture helps orchids quickly develop strong roots and produce abundant, long-lasting flowers.
How to use orchid substrate
- Carefully remove the orchid from the old pot.
- Remove any damaged or rotting roots.
- Place the plant in the new pot, allowing the roots to spread out freely.
- Gently fill the pot with potting soil, do not over-water.
- Water every 3–7 days, depending on how dry the soil is.
