Acidity Regulator – pH Plus
Plagron pH Plus is a liquid acidity regulator that increases the acquired acidity level of the nutrient solution. The ideal level of pH (5.5 to 6.5) should be present for the plant to properly absorb its nutrients. A well-balanced pH promotes the metabolism of the plant and eventually results in fast growth and good health of the plants.
- Raises pH levels in the nutrient solution
- Good for nutrient absorption
- Facilitates plant growth
- Strengthens plant immunity
- Good for hydroponics
Plagron pH Plus is a strong alkaline liquid that can be used to keep the nutrient solution acidity (pH) at optimum levels required by the plant. pH-level regulation acts directly upon the nutrition of the plant, it grows, and its general health.
pH Plus VS Natural Methods
| pH Plus vs Natural Methods | pH Plus | Natural Method |
|---|---|---|
| Accuracy | High (precise control) | Low (unstable) |
| Safety | Professional-grade usage | May damage nutrients |
| Effect | Instant | Slow and unreliable |
Plagron pH Plus Usage
Shake well before usage. Since pH Plus is a highly concentrated product, one must add it in increments. Start small: add 0.5 ml per liter of water; make sure the solution is properly mixed before proceeding. Measure the pH value, and if it’s still too low, add a couple more drops and remeasure. Repeat this until the pH is within the desired range of 5.5 to 6.5. Under no circumstances should one dump a large quantity at once: an excessively high pH level will certainly harm the plants. Once the desired pH is reached, the solution can be stored for irrigation or for use as a hydroponic nutrient solution.
For growing on soil
By normal means, the soil is supposed to regulate the pH to a certain level. Imperfections such as fertilizers use, however, often lead to an imbalance of the pH. It’s best to take the pH level before irrigation in any case. Plagron pH Plus aids nutrient uptake by the soil if the pH is lower than 5.5. On the soil, pH must be brought to 6.0–6.5.
For coco
Coco is neutral to the pH, not to mention the dynamic changes along with nutrient solutions. In coco, one must watch the pH at every watering interval. Use pH Plus in your solution before watering to reach the 5.8–6.2 range, ideal for absorption by coco.
For hydroponic systems
In a hydroponic system, a plant pulls nutrients directly from water; hence, measuring water pH is a crucial task. There is an utmost need to keep the pH of water at very precise points between 5.5 and 6.0. By the way, if you have to raise the pH with Plagron pH Plus, do so slowly, constantly checking the pH with a meter, because any changes in the water may immediately affect the plants. This should be considered only once the pH begins dipping below the stipulated limit.
