THC Rapid Test – Marijuana Drug Test 25ng/ml is a diagnostic test used to detect the presence of THC (tetrahydrocannabinol), the active psychoactive compound in cannabis, in the human system. The THC Rapid Test is an immunoassay for the rapid, qualitative detection of the main active constituent of marijuana (THC) in urine. The test is a qualitative two-site immunoassay for the detection of direct binding of THC to the antibodies. The method is a histochemical reaction. It utilizes an indicator reagent containing a drug-protein conjugate and a dye-adsorbent conjugate.

Only a few minutes are needed for the detection. It is simple and quick to perform. The THC test is often used for control and screening in different areas such as narcotics, pain management, criminal justice, employee health control, doctor drills, sports medicine, prisons, military offices, mental institutions, and emergency rooms. This principal feature of the THC Rapid Test is its sensitivity above which a test is negative. The THC Rapid Test is donor-friendly and detects up to 10 days after only a single episode of marijuana use. If the donor-friendly screen is used in its recommended fashion, it requires a specimen obtained on the same day as the THC Rapid Test. If the screen is positive, a simple THC Rapid Test is then administered for a quantitative result as evidence.

Purpose of the THC Rapid Test

In cases when the employer, the educational institution, or the person that purchased the drugstore test would like to test for the presence of marijuana in the human body at all costs, the THC Rapid Test can show you almost immediately whether there is THC in human urine at a concentration higher than the cut-off set at 25 ng/mL. To this end, the urine test for the detection of cannabinoids can be supplemented with a test, which can confirm the exact level of cannabinoids in human urine or the exact metabolites present in the human body. In comparison with other urine tests, the THC Test shows you if there is THC in the human body at the lowest cut-off level of 25 ng/mL. If the result is positive, the test produces a test line that is less intense than the control line.

• Collecting the Sample: Collect the sample (in this case urine) in a clean container. Specimens are one of the most important parts of drug testing since the quality of the specimen can affect the accuracy and reliability of the test results. This is doubly important when the test results are being relied upon to make important decisions, or the situation involves someone’s treatment, custody, or freedom. When conducting rapid testing in accordance with the procedures described, the collector should always place the rapid test in effect before receiving the sample, even if the donor has been observed.

• Prepare the test kit: Prepare the test kit, open the pouch, and place the test device on a flat and clean surface. Ensure that the test device is kept at room temperature before use.  Keep the screen test device flat and stable, and keep it free from the surfaces of the food. If the test periods are not performed properly, the result of the test may not be appropriate. Now begin the test analysis.
• Apply the sample: Place the test in the sample up to the mark according to the kit instructions for 15 seconds. When testing urine, always apply 3-4 drops of urine. The sample may be applied by any method, allowing the urine to seep up the sample pad. Do not touch the sample pad. When testing on solid or porous surfaces, saturate the whole pad with the sample. When testing liquids, always use a plastic pipette to draw the liquid. Direct the liquid sample onto the sample pad. If using the squeeze dropper for testing liquids, hold the liquid dropper above the sample pad and release 6-10 drops, allowing the liquid to seep up the entire sample pad while releasing droplets. Important tips on using the test: hold the device in a vertical position and allow the buffer to be dispensed, which will move up the cassette for an even flow of the liquid sample. Be sure to place the device on a flat surface in a well-lit area. Do not let the buffer liquid touch your testing instrument or other instruments for the test. If more than one spot is used, start applying the buffer to the first test dot or sample placement.
• Wait for the results: Place the test on a flat surface. As a rule, it takes 5-10 minutes for the results to appear.

Interpretation of results:

• Positive: Indicates THC levels at or above 25 ng/ml, meaning the individual has recently consumed cannabis.
• Negative: THC levels below the detection threshold.

The 25 ng/ml cutoff is a common threshold, especially for urine drug tests, indicating relatively recent cannabis use, typically within days to weeks depending on usage frequency.
